Perfect for us! The staff and owner are so friendly and accommodating. Debra, Emily and Sherry did all they could to make our stay amazing! I really can't say enough about the location and it's simple amenities. It was so nostalgic and reminded me of the places we would stay as kids in the 80's. I loved it! Two of the full timers we met there, Leonard and Howard, the stories they told and the places they've been... wonderful! It is 30 minutes from ABQ and all it has to offer (great zoo, arboretum and aquarium...train connects all three if ticket is purchased before noon). And the Sandia Crest is just minutes away. $3 gets you unlimited access to all the trails and Day use areas on the route up. Tinkertown is a gem! You could spend half a day there and still miss something!
