We evacuated Pasco county to escape hurricane Irma. We made a reservation for 5 nights at El Governor campground thinking this would get us through the storm and we could return. On day 3 the campground was on a "hurricane watch." My husband went to the office to tell them we were evacuating again and asked if we could use our, prepaid, last 2 nights on our way home. Donna flat out told him, NO! I read their policies that we received after we arrived and their policy states that they will not refund in the event of a hurricane. In addition, they will not hold your site and will rerent your spot. That is in violation to Visa regulations. These heartless people are taking advantage of evacuees. I will be reporting to the Florida State Attorny as such too. Spend your money somewhere else.
