“Park does not stand by website” for Sunsetters RV Park
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulI was passing through Quartzite and picked this place to stay overnight. I checked the various websites and picked this one. The website says they take Good Sam and they don't. They don't tell you that showers are not free. All the person could say was they were sorry, well either fix your website or make it right. "I'm Sorry" means nothing. There are numerous other options in the area to choose from.
Date of Stay: December, 2011Rate Paid: $32.00“Great place to stay along the central California coast” for Pinto Lake Park Campground
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulOur family stayed here a week in November. We received one free day for booking a week. While here we visited Carmel, Santa Cruz and Pinnacles. The location is great for families because of the playground and that they don't charge for children. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only negative would be no showers.
Date of Stay: November, 2011Rate Paid: $28.00“Indoor Pool!” for Sunset Motel & RV Park
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulWe stayed for 2 nights here using passport america. RV guest have full use of the indoor pool. The pool itself was nice, although I wished it was warmer. Front desk staff was super nice.
Date of Stay: October, 2011Rate Paid: $17.00“Nothing wrong with this place, but don't stay here” for Chris' Campground
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulI picked this place for the free wifi, which worked very poorly where we were. No one in their right mind should stay here unless the city run campground is full. During my stay, I ran across the city CG and it is far nicer. With that being said, the older couple that checked us in were very nice. The bathhouse was average, and the shower was ok, except it ran on quarter.
Date of Stay: September, 2011Rate Paid: $29.00“Full of character” for French Creek RV Camp
2 out of 2 people found this review helpfulI liked this park because it was different than all the others. The owners are friendly, and genuinely seems to care more about people than money. The bathhouse is interesting, the showers come out of the ceiling. The sites are nothing special, and are alot closer together than I prefer. The location is right in town and walking distance from a grocery store and gift shops. They take Passport America.
Date of Stay: October, 2011Rate Paid: $17.00“Beautiful campground” for Big Pine Campground
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulWe stayed at the Big Pines the last 3 days it was open in 2011. The CG is well kept and beautiful. The bathhouse is clean. It has a nice playground. The sites are large with plenty of room in between them. One caution, if pulling a large towable, then 4WD is a must.
Date of Stay: October, 2011Rate Paid: $30.00“Not pretty but works” for Arrow Campground
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulThis park is well, its ugly. There is nothing attractive about its appearance. Why 3 stars, the owner is very nice and friendly. The wifi is fast, and the showers are hot. Your not going to hang out here, but it works for staying overnight. I would stay again if ever back in Wall.
Date of Stay: September, 2011Rate Paid: $26.00“There is only one good thing about this campground” for Bridge Bay Campground - Yellowstone National Park
1 out of 1 people found this review helpfulThere is only one good thing about this campground, and that is that it is inside of Yellowstone national park. The bad: stupid generator restrictions, annoying camp hosts, very small sites, unattractive setting. This is a dry camping only. One dump station for the whole 400+ CG.
Date of Stay: September, 2011Rate Paid: $23.00“Nice stay while in Cody” for Absaroka Bay RV Park
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulWe stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Cody. The sites are pretty close each other. Bathhouse had good showers, no lack of hot water and water pressure. They don't charge for children which is a huge plus, and the reason we picked this place over the others. Owner is very nice.
Date of Stay: September, 2011Rate Paid: $29.00“Very scenic” for Boysen State Park
0 out of 1 people found this review helpfulWe stayed here for 2 nights. It was dry camping with water spigot available. The price was too high for dry camping, that was the out of state rate, which used to be $12. The negatives are loud trucks on the highway, and loud trains next to the river. The sites are not clearly marked. We had a good time, but I would stay somewhere else next time.
