Very Nice

We stayed here for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The park is very clean, the staff is great, the bathrooms and showers are excellent and the pool and 3 hot springs are beyond excellent. Our site was nice with a concrete pad and an easy walk to the pool. The only thing we found lacking was they do not provide a picnic table
We explored the Joshua Tree National Park from here one day and Palm Springs another day, both are within an easy drive.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Caliente and will definitely be back hopefully they'll start providing tables.

Caliente

This is part of the original review, the internet is a joke, bring your own. The pool area concrete is way overtime to be fixed, very bad. Pool is dirty with green algae on the side of the pool. Very surprised the health dept. has not been called in? The men's change room has the same cobwebs for years, i guess they never clean? Worth the stay but not very clean, also usually too much chlorine in the spas, creating itchy skin after being in them? The pics you see online are very misleading the condition the park is in, it needs an overhaul and fast!

Caliente Springs

A little over priced and continued odor of the sewers, seems they are backed up because the park is not connected to city sewer system? Ok to stay but DO NOT buy a park model, too many problems in the park!

Great park

After a disappointing adventure 1/2 mile up the road at Sam's family RV Park, this place was a blessing. I would have given it a 5 if the streets weren't so narrow for back in's. There was also an olive tree at the entrance to our site which didn't help. I been backing into spaces for 11 years and had some difficulty with this one. I damaged our RV brushing against the olive tree but can only blame myself for that. Other then this, it is an upscale resort.

Warm mineral water in the pools

We lived full time in our 5th wheel for 9 years and have stayed winters at Caliente Springs RV and Golf Resort since 2004. This lovely resort is good for a short stay or for a winter destination. We enjoy the continuously fresh warm mineral water pools and spas (located in a nice shaded clubhouse setting); we like the seasonal planned Activities with excellent weekly entertainment shows and movies, exercise groups, billiard and game rooms, and various sports available; and find the well-attended seasonal on-site Sunday Chapel services to be convenient. The facility is kept neat and clean. We like the quiet desert setting although it’s not far to shopping and medical. There is a fenced grass “doggie park,” and also gates to take pets out for a walk on the desert. The staff is friendly and helpful. The full hookup 50 amp. RV sites are large. We recently purchased a vacation home in the park model neighborhood and now store our RV on site, ready for summer traveling.

Don't Let Approach Turn You Away

When we were pulling down the last street en route, the vacant buildings and homes almost made us try to locate a turn-around area. I am glad we didn't. As you make those last few turns you might think that your GPS is (once again) leading you astray...or you're thinking the park is horrid at best. NOT SO! We located the office. Staff are sweet and helpful. We then pulled thru the gates to go into the park. We had a pull-thru space closer to the river. Streets are a bit narrow but manageable. Spaces are clean and well-kept. Grounds are free of clutter and hookups all work. Grocery stores are only 10 mins away in Blythe. Ended up staying for two nights as hubby was battling a stomach bug. Definitely would stay again.

WiFi issues

As of this time, Tengo WiFi has not upgraded their system to accept Apple IOS6 devices. Your iPhone or iPad might not work. I called Tengo and they could not solve the problem.
You can drive 5 miles to Micky D' in Blythe and connect.
Don't use auto correct on any devices.

This is a very nice park right on the Colorado River…

Which means the sound of water toys all day long…that was not annoying to us and we were basically right on the river. The entire park was well maintained, clean and all folks were very friendly. The sites were a good size for us…we fit fine but had to manipulate our tow to fit on the spot…we noticed many other tow vehicles parked on the site next to them which at this time would not be a problem since season is over here but would be a problem during prime season. The pool and spa was fabulous, clean and the perfect temperature. Doing our laundry was the best we have done…a lounge area where we were able to watch the Busch Race and I was able to work on a puzzle…time just flew by doing our wash.

We stayed here twice, once for a complimentary 4 night stay and the second time we used our Coast to Coast membership.

Nice Stay

Enjoyed our stay. Full hook ups. Sandy site with small concrete patio, no table. Biggest complaint is so tightly packed in. Lovely pools and hot tubs with mineral spring water. Tennis, small restaurant, pickle ball, horseshoes, etc. Lots of long term folks and everyone is friendly. All well maintained and pretty. WiFi worked fine, cable played same channel on all TVs in RV. Friendly staff.

Hot springs hot tubs

This is a review Sky Valley Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA, near Palm Springs.

Close to Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs. 90 minutes from Anaheim.
Very helpful and nice. This is a resort community with lots of park model homes. Lots of citrus trees and palm trees and lakes on site, but the place where the short-termers go is more sparse.

We paid $28 a night for full hook-ups, back-in site.

Nice bathrooms, showers are mineral water showers. Very long ways from where we were parked. Pretty tight spots

Heated swimming pool and hot tub that are fed by natural hot springs. Very small playground and basketball court. Decently kept up and many of the sites had fun decor and yard art.

Propane trucks deliver to site. Secured facility. Cafe, weekly church services at resort. Lots of activities geared toward the retired set. Weak wifi included.

We loved swimming each night in the warm mineral water!
