Customer service not good

I?ve stayed here before but this visit nothing went right. When setting up 50 amp didn?t work. Maintenance man was rude. Got that fixed and then cable tv didn?t work. They said cable was fine, it was my equipment. But I took cable and plugged it in at site next door and it worked fine. They were just too lazy to work on it.

Great Park for Visiting DC

We enjoyed our stay at Cherry Hill. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have a daily orientation session to help you figure out how to get around in the city. They run their own bus tours or help you sign up for other tours if you prefer. Their mini-golf fees go to charity. The city bus has a stop right in the park that goes to the Metro station. We didn't tow a vehicle and we didn't need one. Our site was very nice, the deluxe sites have a table and chairs as well as a picnic table. This park is great if you are visiting D.C. There is a bit of road noise along one side but it wasn't terrible. We've certainly been in worse.

Great place

The grounds are neat, clean, and well laid out. It is pricey but it's the closest to D.C. And the metro bus to the train is convenient.
The reception desk workers are helpful and nice. They have a lot of info to give and will help with as much as you want to ask.

Awesome just like every other visit!

We have stayed here numerous times. It is one of the few RV parks that has a "resort" feel while maintaining a "camping" feeling without boasting they are more than they are - an RV park. This park is the closest to DC and is an easy Metro ride to DC. We always park at the Greenbelt Metro stop but they also have a public bus stop at the entrance (inside park so you are under covering and off the street) along with the ability to purchase bus and Metro tickets at park. Sites are well maintained as are the bathhouses (this is the park we compare all other bath/restrooms too.) We have never had a problem while staying here. This trip in cluded hiring a dog walker who is recommended by the park. She took our dog out twice one day so we could stay in town all day being "tourists". A neighboring camper mentioned she was gone about 20 minutes each time she took him out. This park also offers tent, group tent, cabin, yurts, and traditional RV sites.

Since our last visit they've added a splash park and new building with more laundry and bath/showers. Their first laundry room has always been sufficient so this was nice to see. Laundry wash was $2.50 per load using new front load washers and dry was about $1.50 per load since you pay $0.25 for each 6 minutes. Some loads were done in $1 while some needed more time. They have also eliminated the code entry at security gate. It is now a scanning device but every time we entered, a staff member was at the gate and opened it as we approached. After 8 days, they recognize you!!

A Very Nice Park

A very nice park extraordinarily convenient to Wash. D. C. Metro bus/trains couldn't be closer and very reasonably priced.

Cherry Hill among the best

The best campground for setting D.C.

Buses come to the campground, and deliver you back after tours (they sell tour tickets at Cherry Hill).

They can also set you up with Metro Pass Cards (bus & subway pass card). And they have all the details and bus stop times listed to get you there and home again...

Park is clean, secure, level sites, good showers (lots of places throughout the park), modern laundry, and friendly staff.

We will stay there if ever get back to D.C.

Great Park, good location

Great we'll managed park. Restrooms showers plentiful and clean. Nice pools. Be aware that regular pull through sites have shared patio areas, premium sites have private areas.
