Except for the occasional train passing by, which stopped around 6:30 pm, it's a very quiet park. Not much car traffic and not a lot of people camping either. Location is great and the RV sites are huge and paved. One thing I didn't like is that you have to pay an additional $25 to dump. Oh and the entrance to the park is very narrow. You'd be better off going to Tapo Canyon Park.Date of Stay: December, 2010Rate Paid: $25.00
“Great location” for San Diego RV Resort0 out of 1 people found this review helpful
All sites have concrete floor and were level. The facility is well maintained and veey clean. Walking distance to trolley station and a mile away from RV supplies store.
Not a lot to do in the park but with a $5 daily trolley pass, you can go anywhere in downtown San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico.
I recommend going to old town and the gaslamp district.Date of Stay:Rate Paid: $45.00

“Convenient Location” for Castaic Lake RV Park0 out of 1 people found this review helpful
Not far from the freeway exit and has full hookup from your site. Near the lake and recreation area. What I didn't like about the place is it has too much permanent or long term residents. Less than half a mile from this site is Castaic Lake Park which also has a campsite for RV and tents but no hookups for $17 a day.Date of Stay:Rate Paid: $50.00
“Great Ocean View” for Malibu Beach RV Park1 out of 2 people found this review helpful
It's pricey compared to the state RV parks but it has full amenities. The public bathroom and showers are big and very clean. Great view of the ocean and a nice location on Pacific Coast Highway. It's centrally located so you can go south to Los Angeles and Orange County and north to Oxnard/Ventura/Santa Barbara.Date of Stay: September, 2010Rate Paid: $75.00

If you like to bike or hike, this is a place for you. There are so many trails and the view of the city and the nice houses is spectacular. The trail is perfect for mountain biking and hiking at night. It was a full moon when I went so I can see the trail without a light and I biked for hours well into the night. The trails nearby are Calabasas Peak Motorway, Grassland Trail, Crags Road, Backcountry Trail and I'm sure there are more. I just didn't have time to go there. It's only 30 minutes away from the city but it feels like you are camping in the woods. There are also deers running around the trail.Date of Stay: September, 2010Rate Paid: $35.00
