Close to the beach, but kind of crazy

Tropical Storm Debby (June 2012) ran us out of Florida and we went to Pirateland in Myrtle Beach for better weather. The place is huge and right on the beach. The sites are sort of cramped but we are hear for the beach. Tons if families and lots of kids everywhere. The golf carts are sort of a PITA going all over the place and zipped around me as I backed in our spot.

We'd camp here again, but would also check out other places to stay in the area.

Clean campground

We wound up here when Topsail Hill Preserve State Park was evacuated due to Tropical Storm Debby. Clean bath houses. Very nice laundry. The RV park is clean. Not many trees except around the parameter. Sites have a paved spot that the picnic table is on, but your RV is on dirt. More if a place for Full Time RVers to take up residence than a vacation spot.

Our site was a level pull through. We stayed in a TT for one night.
