If you are military or retired, Sea Mist is an affordable, clean, and pet friendly place. Reservations in the summer are highly suggested. The campground is open year-round. You can walk to the beach which allows fishing and dogs on a leash. Swim at your own risk or take a very short drive (2 min) to Dam Neck's other three beaches. Typical exchange services and military installation activities available. Excellent camp staff, clean laundry ($1 per load), and large, level concrete sites with grass or trees between campers. Some spots are open, others are shady.
