Lots to do!

Right near the river!! We stayed 4 nights. Walked to the river every night to fish or just watch. We had 4 kids with us and they enjoyed every night of it. They rode their bikes enjoyed the gift shop/ grocery store. We had another couple stay with us and they accommodated us very well by putting us together. Our site was spacious with lots of trees. Full hookup fish cleaning area and great prices on charters. The only problem I had was that there were only two showers and two toilets which were broken most of our stay. 8 dollars was a bit much to take a shower and the washers and dryers also cost 4 dollars to wash and 4 dollars to dry! My dryer took 12 dollars since it didn't dry very well and my jeans and towels were very much needed. They also have residents that are very close with do not trespass signs on there campsites kinda weird for a campsite. The gal who ran the place was very nice and answered every phone call. Very personable.

Horrible site

Unless you like staying behind a building with no view and in a extremely small parking lot. The pictures on this site is a lie I didn't see a beautiful site anywhere!!

Great value beautiful stay!!

Drove down the whole spit to find a place to park and stay after seeing the very disappointing rv park were were booked at. We decided to stay here, the view was phenomenal the parking spot had plenty of room to drop my rig and park my truck. They had great staff that was so pleasant and they made sure we were taken care of and knew all they had to offer!!! We stayed three wonderful days. Barbecued on the outdoor gas grill that they offered for guest use! Great grill very clean! We utilized the indoor seating area for one of our dinners. They have a full barista bar that also offers baked goods from the local bakery. There are great showers that they keep super clean and we used since all 6 of us couldn't utilize the rv's shower. Lots of washers and dryers. Never did I have to wait. The staff even folded one persons that left behind their wash. ( not that I recommend this they were so busy doing other things) a gift shop and they even will help you with your charters.

Small but will do

Rolled in at 8pm. Everything was closed. There is a place to grab an envelope to pay. Right off highway, loud at night with freeway noise and train runs right next to camp. River is near camp, some sights are right on it, but hard to park into. Electric and water is included. Kind of cramped and hard to pull through on some sites. Ok to stay for overnight, and push on in morning. Quaint shop on site and laundry room to do laundry.

Great place to stay

This was such a great place to stay, you wouldn't believe it's walking distance from the city. The park was so clean and full of trees. Each campsite was spacious. Running clean water in each bathroom, soap and paper towels. Small nature trail to walk on by the chena river. A boat drop off and fresh cut grass to sit and enjoy the river. The campsite manager was always around keeping tabs on all the sites. Very pet friendly. I had water and electric at my site most did not, it was a first come first serve, so our first night was a dry sight, it was such a large site we didn't want to move, except we wanted to run the ac, and didn't have a generator. The camp is right off the road and you can hear traffic, and occasional people off the street walk through. This is a campsite I will visit frequently.
