We cannot compliment this park enough! We were absolutely blown away coming into the gate and riding to the office on our first day. Absolutely beautiful. They KEPT the marvelous desert and plants and carved out huge sites on which to stay. The sites were the largest we have been to and camp workers are busily daily grooming sites or escorting a newcomer to site. There are many activities and events planned. We enjoyed many and had favorites such as water color painting, genealogy class, and stained glass. So many to choose from and no one could ask for more. The views are wonderful and not obstructed so you can see the mountains in the distance and at sunset the colors are breathtaking as are the large amount of natural Saguaro Cacti. People are friendly and considerate. No planes, trains or offensive noise to interfere with our quiet walk on groomed paths around the park and other natural land. We visited last winter and this year will return to occupy a site which we purchased. Now it's ours forever. We were just emailed that a new photo page was just added to the park's website. Desert Gardens RV Park is truly an Oasis in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. If you like "room to roam" this is the place to be. The park is for winter visitors and beautifully groomed with natural, large cacti and trees left for their beauty. Every site has lovely, unobstructed views of the desert and mountains. Sites nearer the Rec Hall and facilities are 40'x 50' others just a short walk are 60' x 70'. Adult park with 2+ mile groomed walking path, 50' x 100' lovely Rec Hall with separate Stained Glass Studio, separate fully equipped fitness center w/tv, another large game room with pool tables, library, tv, card tables with lounge area,a spacious and spotless laundry building, and a separate, fully equipped wood shop. They have 2 activity directors who keep providing both daily activity and monthly special event schedules. There is plenty to keep you both active and occupied. RV washing is allowed at the RV wash areas.(ask where) Pet Friendly to 2 well behaved dogs (indoor cats are welcome also) The Good Sam Family has rated this park among the TOP 300 PARKS in all of North America.
