Good overnight stop

Not bad for the price, long sites, level, quiet, some permanents. Easy check-in, they just hand you a piece of tape with your site number on it. OK for an over-night stop.

We love this park!

We keep coming back because it's a great place! Perfect set up - long ,wide level tarmac sites with grass in between with nice picnic tables at each site. Tons of great cable reception and good WiFi. A little street noise, but not bad, but that's what you get for easy on/off freeway location. Nice people & good price, can't ask for anything else.

Very nice campground

Very nice campground. Super nice hosts. Lots of grass and shade trees. Small cement patio with a table and potted plant at each site. Gravel site a bit narrow, but level and lots of space between sites. Great cable and WiFi.

Good location for the Painted Hills

Very nice, very clean, well maintained, grass and tarmack with long level sites. Sites had hookups in the back so you need a long sewer hose, but otherwise great. OTA TV got you about 7 channels, all very clear. Good WiFi. Very quiet and close to the very small, no frills town. About 45 min to the Painted Hills which is the reason we were there.

Typical "resort"

We've stayed here before. Very nice but very expensive. Well maintained campground. A true "resort". Pretty nice place, with grass & trees between each sites. Sites are concrete and pretty level. The sewer/elec hook-up could be located a bit better so your car can be parked a bit better. The sites are very narrow with the rigs just barely fitting within them. No tables, etc. It had an indoor pool etc. but never went to it...not as "friendly" as others. Good reception for our own WiFi, Cable etc. 30 min. to Portland, not bad/not great, especially for the price.

We liked it

Nice park with wide long gravel sites with grass in between. FHU at mid section so easy hookups. No cable & OTA no so good, good WiFi. No street noise, but the train comes by at very early in the am (like 1am!). Our site faced the pasture which was nice. Nice shade trees too. Office had movies to barrow and Darlene was super nice. The gate everyone talks about on the reviews is no big deal.

Great for an overnight stop

FHU with cable, wonderful cement, long level sites. No need to even unhook. Had a table and patio area at each site. Close to the hotel/casino to walk to. Very clean, off the hwy enough to be quiet too! The casino lacked a "full restaurant", only a casual cafe, but a great over-night spot!

An OK campground

FHU, OTA TV pretty good. Secure WiFi, level gravel pull-thru with grass and table at each site. Place only had a few people here while we were here. Mgr/owner Sara hardly ever here, but could reach her by phone. FYI, place only takes cash or checks, no cc, which you don't know until you arrive. She only had one 1 laundry working. Closer to Grand Forks than Fargo, which was fine for us as we had already been to Fargo before, so no big deal & Grand Forks has all the necessary things one needs. Although there is another campground closer to Grand Forks. It rained a lot, so the ground were soaked - not their fault, but not the best condition to be camping in.

What a great find!

What a wonderful place! I wasn't sure what to expect, so when we arrived, I was shocked at how wonderful it was! The sites are great, allowing wonderful views of the water, still giving everyone plenty of space in between each other, all level, with grass around each, along with a small patio at each. Then, because it was over the Independence holiday, they cooked, and served each of us a full BBQ dinner! Free!! The hosts, father and son, are the nicest people you would ever want to meet (along with their spouses). Right across a small street is the marina with a great restaurant (with wonderful fresh seafood). This was such a find, I just couldn't believe it - almost don't want to share it! I see why folks come back here year after year.

New name, great place! It's now called STURGIS DOWNTOWN RV PARK

New name, great place! It's now called STURGIS DOWNTOWN RV PARK

Kind of fun being right in town! (only not during when something is going on!) They make it fun, even then - they had a pot luck salad night, and many folks came, even in the rain, which made it fun. Sites are good, level, tarmack. Place is clean, well maintained, WiFi, TV, etc. all good. Really liked this place.
