Lazy Acres Campground Review

I read the reviews before pulling in about the sand and car racing noise and thought it sounded OK ... Not one of my better thoughts. Sand is everywhere and so are the ANTS!!! A list of restrictions, rules and regulations made the pool area feel as though I was under surveillance. The noise from the nearby stock car raceway was full-on until 10:30 pm. Checking in was a nightmare. Bob (the owner) was very nice. I spoke with him about site 23 and he said, "sure, we can get you that" until Debbie (wife/co-owner) walked in. I was grilled about the size of the dog, how many computers I have, how the pool closes at 8 and how I was NOT getting site 23, but "I had her in site 7". She never looked at me the entire time. Rude does not sum this person up but it's a good descriptive word. Why be in a service oriented field and have no people skills? BUT the sites were clean and hook up was easy. Bob escorted us to the site. The bathrooms were separate rooms with shower, sink, and toilet in each lockable room. Very clean. Pretty hanging plants that Bob kept watered. $2 off as a Good Sam participant. Thank goodness my dog didn't bark ... I didn't want to tell Deb what I thought about her rudeness and offer to help her with the wedged stick.

Great experience!

Just completed an overnight stay in our 23' Class C and really enjoyed ourselves. Paid $35 and the hook up was effortless. The owner has been there for 18-years and built the buildings. The laundry was accessible and clean as were the showers. Plenty of room to get dressed after showering and private. Our neighbor came over to help us set up and gave me the business card of a local RV Dealer (we had a little issue starting out in FL). We do miss Trigger but got to say our goodbye. It's also right off of I-95.

One night stay

Beautiful lake where seasonal trailers were "permanently" hooked up. We stayed one night with a 21' Class C RV. Showers were large with attached dressing room. Trailers were VERY close to each other with not a tree in sight. We were charged with $10 to dump. Sandy was very helpful and drove her golf cart to our site and let us borrow a 50 to 30 amp plug. We would stay again.

One- night Stay

Stayed at New Green Acres RV Park for one night (June 2nd - 3rd). Two people in a 21' Class C RV. We arrived past closing and were instructed to fill out a form. Available sites were listed and we were instructed to cross out the site we picked. Hook up was a breeze. Showers were large with an attached dressing room. There was a dog playground as well! We met the camp's parrot when we paid in the morning. The site is REALLY close to I-95 with a gas station right there with super low rate. I would stay here again. We were also discounted with AAA.

One night review

Our stay at Camp-A-While on Sunday, June 1st to the 2nd was effortless! The sites are all tree lined on different levels. The pool is great ... Clean and accessible. Showers were roomy with plenty of hooks. We arrived at 10:30 pm and paid on Monday when we left. Catch and release pond too! Fire pits and picnic tables at sites. GREAT! Loved it!
