Nice, but no sewer hook-ups

This park had a nice setting with shaded sites as well as water sites on the dock and near the mangroves. There was an on sites restaurant for breakfast and a Tiki bar in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here and drove to Key West to spend a day. There were many people with large dogs staying in the park, but the dogs seemed to be well behaved.
There were no sewer hook-ups in this park but dump services were available for an additional fee.

Amazing View

We had the most amazing site here! Our back living room window looked directly out at the Gulf and the sunsets! Our door was actually 14 steps from the water! The people here, both the staff and the campers were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were reserved for renters only, so be sure yours are working in your RV. The camp is nothing fancy and sites are quite tight, but with a view like we had, who cares. Many campers had been spending winters there for years.
We paid Good Sam On-season rate. Full hookup and cable

Beautiful RV Resort

This is an absolutely beautiful RV Resort. Streets are paved, grass is green, all facilities are very clean, people are friendly! This would be a great place to spend the winter and is also great as a stop along the way. Most campers were there for the season and there were many camp models, but every thing was so well done that even in the itinerant sites you felt welcome and part of the community. Very nice! Paid Good Sam On-season Rate.

Very Clean

We stayed here for 4 nights. The park facilities are very clean. The park is located in town and Doud Street actually is right between two auto sales lots. Our site was right on Doud Street, but the traffic wasn't too bad and the sites were made with crushed shells and had cement pads with picnic tables. The location was a short drive from area beaches. Over all, a nice place to stay.

Friendly Park

We checked in for a month and ended up staying for four months! We enjoyed the people we met there, many of whom have been spending winters there for several years. There were potluck celebrations for all the holidays. Although the park is right on busy US 19, it is close to most anything you want to do (golf, bike paths, fishing both fresh and salt water, shopping, dining, beaches, sunsets!!) The showers and bathrooms were clean. The recreation and laundry area was a covered yet open air area where you could swim in the sparkling clean heated pool while doing your wash! A great place to stay for a night or the season! We'll be back.
Price was per month and included tax and electricity 50amp hookup.

Roaming Productions

We stayed here when we were visiting the Orlando Theme parks. We also enjoyed visiting the little town of Winter Garden which seems to have a lot of special events. The Lost Lake RV Resort is nothing special at the moment, but they are working to improve it. The sites are shaded and good sized. Many have compacted asphalt pads and concrete patios. There are showers, laundry and a pool. You are near the bike path, but do check to make certain which direction is safe to ride. It has more of a campground feeling than an RV Park. It was very reasonable with our Passport America discount.

Roaming Productions

We stayed here when we went to the Kennedy Space Center. The camp was very clean, had very nice restrooms and showers as well as a nice large swimming pool. The streets are wide so it is easy to get parked.
The only draw back to this park is that if you are in the first row of sites you are very near I95 and there is a lot of road noise pretty much 24 hours a day.

The park was clean and had a nice pool and laundry facilities. The individual sites were shaded, nice and reasonable in size. However getting into them was challenging, as the roads through the park were very narrow, and people had to park their cars along the road too. Fortunately they have a couple of very knowledgable gentlemen who guide you to and into your site. They guided my husband in parking our 33ft 5th wheel trailer with inches to spare. We could have never done it without them.
The other unique thing about this park is that the majority of quests speak only French. You feel as though you are either in France or Montreal Canada.
Nice place that filled our needs for being in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale area.

Visiting the theme parks

This RV Park is nothing fancy, but the sites are larger, have cement pads and plenty of shade. The other campers were helpful when we were parking. Continued improvements are being made to the park.
The park is close enough to Orlando to make it a good place to stay while you visit the theme parks.

Close to beaches

This is a great park. I believe is also the only RV Park on the island.
Loved staying here as we could ride our bikes to everything including the beaches.
The aviary has many beautiful and rare birds. No dogs are allowed to stay in the park.
