Nice quiet campground with good over the air TV reception. It's about mid-way between Pueblo and Colorado Springs. It has a Walmart about 15 min. away, along with a good pizza restaurant (Angelo's) along with some other strip malls, then Pueblo is about another 20 min. away. Colorado Springs is about 30 min. the other way. The mountains, with nice day trips is off in the other direction. So it turned out to be a good location after all. Windy, like all of Southern CO. but mostly in the afternoon is all. Super nice owner (Nancy). Would stay here again.
Although this place may be under new management, it needs alot of help. The water is brown coming out of the faucet, so was afraid to drink it. Better have bottled water. There is no water in the swimming pool, no trees, the picnic tables are all broken. My friends 30 amp service quit working so couldn't use his air conditioner. Sorry but would try not to ever stay there again.
This campground is under new owners and is being up-dated weekly. Super large sites and you can not touch the RV next door. Clean restrooms and nice hot showers. Large laundry room and you won't stand in line to wash. WiFi works great way out in the park. Park also has after hours check in.
