Friendly
We had a shady spot with a table and grass.
It is a dated place with an old pool they updated with a slide. My kids loved it.
The 3 stall ladies shower had only curtains and no doors. There was a separate changing space attached to each shower.
Free coffee and muffins each morning.
A Little Pricey
With our KOA 10% discount membership we paid $36.45 for a FHU pullthru. A little pricier then we like to spend but our drive is taking us to areas that there are not too many parks to choose from and the other one in the area had some pretty bad ratings. We were greeted by a very smiling face behind the counter who was very informative about the area, even though we were only spending one night she gave us some interesting places to see while we were in the area. The only one we took her up on was the restaurant next store which we thoroughly enjoyed. See our review post for all the delicious news.
The restrooms at the campground were a little outdated but they were kept very clean. There were only 3 to 4 washer and dryers in the laundry room. We hardly ever use their facilities but we would have been quite content if we had to use them.
The pool looked enticing but we passed on it since the weather was still quite cool in this area. They provided cable TV and Wifi at no extra cost. They do allow pets and adhere to their strict pet policies.
The park was quiet and not too overly lit up overnight, and even though the highway was close, the noise from it was not extensive.
