Best park in town

Great campground. Close to park entrance, town, canyon lands and all the fun you can handle. Shower/bath house was clean but a little to small for the campground. Pool is nice and refreshing after a long day hiking.

Beautiful Setting

Convenient and in a beautiful setting... We were in Moab to mountain bike and see the Arches National Park...We spent 3 nights here... The staff was friendly, especially the younger girl, but the older lady working on the day of check-in was not very friendly and we were there 10 minutes waiting to check-in before she even acknowledged us... I understand she was dealing with other customers, but come on at least throw me a bone... The sites were close, the turns tight for bigger rigs though manageable, and of course dusty gravel sites... There was barely room enough for us to park our truck at our site...Also the sewer connection kind of ran uphill at our site and was somewhat difficult to connect because we had to crawl under our slide to make it work... We didn't spend a lot of time watching tv but they had a zillion channels...Although we didn't use it, the pool and jacuzzi were nice... The store had minimal items and appeared to be in renovation mode... We had no need for the bath facilities or laundry so I am not sure about those... We mainly give this one 4 stars because of location and it wasn't bad, but it just didn't wow us... Plus it is owned/managed by the same group that owns/manages the Pony Express in Salt Lake City, where we had just stayed... It could probably even be a 3 star in our opinion...Honestly, next time we are in Moab we plan to try out the Portal RV Park just down the road

Nice clean park, friendly staff

We stayed for two nights. I travel in a 33 ft class A. The pull-throughs are easy access, with a little grass and a picknick table. The site has the normal conveniences, plus a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff was friendly, both on the phone and in person.
The site is right off hwy 191, but then all sites in this area are. We were in a spot closest to the freeway but it didn't bother us. I could hardly hear it over the furnace and air conditioner. The parking spots are a bit uneven, but nothing my levelers couldn't handle. The park has the normal pet rules, minus the interrogation of what breed and size and the inevitable nasty instructions/threats to keep the dog on leash. The staff was very pleasant and casual about pets, just mentioning to keep on leash.
The park is clean, easy access. All in all definitely a place I will revisit.

Nice

Very nice, lots of room, great view, a bit pricy at $45.50 a night, but worth it. Would come again.
