Relaxing Park
This is a beautiful park. I co-hosted the Virginia Pop-up Portal rally here. Had 60 people camping pop-ups. The camping loop is nice and sites are large, roomy, shaded and not on top of each other. A very clean bathhouse. The only thing is the main campground is not on the river but the primate campground is right on the river. There is a canoe livery. Where you can rent canoes and rafts and float the James river. When we where there the river was to high to float. Will do that next time. The park has alot of walking trails and Horse trails. There is a horse group camping area also.
