Not in Seattle, not in Tacoma
Right at the western edge of Kent, WA, this KOA is expensive for what you get. You get a flat site (good), a picnic table on the 7' of grass that separates you from the next RV, a closed swimming pool (only open Memorial Day to Labor Day despite the fact that it is in the 70s), a small playground, some trees, a laundry with 7 washers and 8 dryers that must assume that you do only large loads because the dryers run for 45 minutes (no other option). Oh, and there is a 3-aisle store with a few food stuffs, some tschotkes, and some RV supplies. Very friendly personnel. Some permanent people (there are electric meters at all the sites for those people) but can't tell how many. Only a few have the usual supply of lights, plants, etc that identify that they don't move much.
We came here because Dash Point State Park north of Tacoma is closed until spring and Saltwater State Park is only day use for some reason. I think the price is exorbitant for what you get.
