Excellent campground
Ike Kinswa is located on the edge of Mayfield Lake. Many of the sites are lakeside and have picturesque views. Highly recommend site 16 - just feet from the lake and the view is gorgeous. RV/trailer sites have power/water/sewer. Very well maintained and clean. Each site has a large sturdy picnic table and fire pit. Most of the camping sites are fairly private and surrounded by woods.Bathrooms and showers also available. I only went into the one at the day-use park and it was very clean. Speaking of the day-use area, there are many trails to hike, a play ground, horseshoe pits, and swimming. However, the beach is covered with goose poop so swimming is pretty much out of the question. There is also a boat launch ($7) just across the bridge. There are cabins and yurts for rent as well. There are trails all over the area, not just at the day use area. If you are into geocaching - as I am - there are quite a few in the area. Ike Kinswa is among the best camp grounds in the state.
