Bark River Campground & Resort

Bark river is ankle deep in this area, usually is throughout summer. Not a good place to fish. The swimming pool is small, and shallow. What they label " a fishing and swimming pond" is a murky, weedy, black nasty pond that appears to not have been dredged for quite some time. And the cottonwoods are seeding all over it. Not a place to swim. Could possibly be a place to fish, however the water is so black that who knows what you're fishing for. Place is crawling with permanents, who blare their radio, we wouldn't consider it a fishing spot back in that yucky pond as the old ladies who live right at the entrance of it blare their radio so loud your eardrums would bleed. Plenty of other clean, quiet campgrounds around with nice pools and swimming area, don't bother with this one. Its gross!
