Great weekend get-away
We came here on the recommendation of a fellow camper because they have their own hot spring pools! They have 3 pools, each with a little different temperature. The pools are great - big, clean and wonderful. The campground isn't much to speak of, mottled grass with tight spaces, but FHU. We were only there for 2 days, so it didn't really matter to us. Looked like a "weekend get-away" as it really cleared out on Sunday! When you added the fees for the pools in town to the park fees at the other campgrounds it didn't make sense to go anywhere else just for a "fancier place", especially if you were going to go to the pool more than once.
Great mineral springs
Park itself is a little run down but the mineral springs make up for it. Had 5 showers, only 2 working. Did not use laundry facility, but a couple of machines out of order. Mineral springs were great. Owners bought couple of years ago and are working on cleaning it up. Would stay again although a little pricey.
Oh my
Don't let the pictures deceive you. The park needs to be mowed, no pride of ownership. The pools need to be drained,scrubbed and cleaned
Need some TLC
We stayed here because some people from other rv park recommended it.. And the website looks good. We are surprised that the place is not level.. Bugs and flies all over the place.. The shower/ restrooms stinks. The mineral swimming pool is dirty.. We used the state park instead . This place would surely be a good one to stay in the future if the mgt will take some extra effort to maintain the place. Good luck everyone.
