Bad management
They make you pull your camper down and look for a site when you pick a site. you have to pull your camper back to the station . Somebody may have already paid for that site and then you had to go back . again and look . One hour and 38 minutes to check in I will never go back.
This park is why people buy RVs and opt out of hotels!
Really well managed and maintained park with beautiful views of the lake. Excellent tent as well as RV sites. The rates can't be beat ($25 non-res. water front site) A real gem of a park and easily at the top of our favorites list. They now take mc/visa but don't take reservations so I suggest not showing up on Fri during the summer if you want the best selection. They have quite a process to get into a prime site during busy times.( ie sign up at 12:01am and then be back at 7:01am to assure the site you want!) We were here in March so we had several to choose from. Site #31 has great sunrise views and allow for your rig to be fully parallel to the water. Although this campground is open year round, only the first half of the sites are available in off season/winter. (season starts April 1) There is also a man that comes around in the evening and sells cedar firewood for $10/lg bundle out of his truck.
