A camp ground NOT A RESORT

Everyone nice and helpful. As with any place that have full timers, there is a "clique" this is an old KOA campground. Staff is wonderful. Some sights are VERY small. Not enough room between the big rigs, 5 feet, at the most.

Family fun!

Spent 3 nights at Styx River Resort; absolutely AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, the other campers and guest were VERY out going and treated everyone like family. This is a wonderful place to go if you have children or not. Will definitely be visiting them again...soon!

Styx River Resort

Styx River Resort is between Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida on scenic Styx River. Campsites are on the gently sloping, heavily shaded grounds about 100 yards from the banks of the river. The resort has received numerous awards and recognition as being one of the finest outdoor resorts in the United States. Large pull-thru sites, beautiful rental cabins, a large clubhouse with both an indoor and an outdoor pool, a small restaurant, and easy access to the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. The Styx River provides opportunity for tubing and canoeing. Elevation: Sea Level
