Beautiful setting
A beautiful COE park adjacent to Beaver Dam. There are 48 sites scattered into 3 distinct areas but most are located on a small island just offshore and connected to the mainland by an earthen levee. Most sites have generous spacing between them. Don't worry if you don't have a waterfront site because every site has a view of the water and in every direction. Fairly level sites, electric only, paved, some shaded, some near the water not shaded. There isn't water at the sites but there are 3-4 water taps scattered around the park to fill up on your way in. The dump station is located just off the main entrance road.
There is no cable or wifi here but several over the air channels available with the rooftop antenna including 3 of the 4 major networks. Satellite antenna worked well here and would do so at nearly every site. There are a handful of sites near the water with a lot of trees that might pose a reception problem. Cellular signal was very strong.
This is a fairly quiet, peaceful and beautiful setting. There is a sister park below the dam; either park offers excellent fishing and this park with its' boat launch also offers excellent boating activities. Go outside well after dark and check out all of the stars in the sky, you won't be disappointed. We camped here 2 nights in a travel trailer and would visit again.
