Scenic and quiet
One of several COE sites scattered around Beaver Lake, the somewhat remote lake location of Hickory Creek Park makes for a fairly quiet yet still scenic campground. Sites are all back-in, some are lake front but all have very good views of the lake and associated wildlife. Generous space between most all sites, some full sun while others are partially or completely shaded. All sites have fire ring and picnic table. All sites have electricity, but no water nor sewer connections are available at campsites; fill your fresh tank on the way in. Paved access roads and sites.
Cellular service is spotty, several channels are available using the rooftop antenna, and satellite reception will be very good at many of the sites. There is no wifi anywhere in this park location.
We stayed 3 nights here in our travel trailer and would visit again.
