Neglect
If you are looking for a pleasant picnic spot at a secluding park, Cherokee park is for you. Point Remove Park must have been a pleasant little park in the past. Now, trees have fallen over the picnic tables. The restrooms at one end are covered with brush. The scenic trails are gone. The walking bridge has been closed and abandoned. Everything you would expect at a park is non-existent. Its hard to believe that Cherokee park is only a mile past Point Remove park. Remove Point park is a historic part of Arkansas that has been abandoned.
