Perfection
Other RV Park Owners - Take Note. This is one that sets the bar of what makes a perfect park.
1) Scenic location along the banks of the Mississippi River
2) Close, but not so close, to a major city to explore
3) Large, well spaced water front sites - optimized for motorhomes and 5th wheels to get their best possible views to watch the barges go up and down the river.
4) Super friendly staff with flexible reservation policies
5) Well maintained everywhere you look, without feeling like a classy 'resort'.
and then add in free WiFi (well, it could work a little better) and FREE laundry in some of the cleanest and highest tech machines we've encountered in a campground?!?
Oh, and really reasonable rates.
It's pure bliss. If they added in a hot tub, we'd probably never leave. Well, until the floods lifted us away anyway.
Well done Tom Sawyer's. You've won our hearts.
AT&T & Verizon LTE work just fine here.
Great place
Always enjoy our stay at Tom Sawyer
Great Location
Very nice park for up to Big Rigs. Easy off and easy back on I-40 or I-55 with signs to lead in. Nice facilities, nice managers and a great unique location on the MS River. A good place to relax and enjoy the views. Highly Recommended.
diamond in the rough
after traveling for nine hours and evening coming on it was time to park for the evening having Toms as one option from the internet we decided to check it out. driving thru the neighborhood and seeing iron gates on the windows of shops and homes one wonders. once we got to the site it was nicer than expected, clean, quiet and staff pleasant and helpful. very quiet and peaceful evening with only the sounds of the wild and the river barges passing by. on a five week cross country trip in a pop up it was a very relaxing stay. the shower and toilet where tight for me being handicapped but i did get by.
Right on the banks of the Mississippi
On the banks of the Mississippi great views, clean, quiet. Not a bad place to visit the local area from especially if you do not want to stay in Memphis.
FHU with concert pullthru on the river. WIFI worked great.
Peaceful Park
We just left after spending three relaxing days at this very spacious clean park. It is a bit rustic, but has everything a camper needs, and is close to a race track, casino, plenty of amenities and only minutes across the river to downtown Memphis.
