Beautiful
For more of outdoor type but campsite is excellent. Mountain trails that are long and rugged but worth trip. River is primitive but easily accessible and shallow enough for kids. Programs in summer for entertainment. We love it!

Accessible Facilities
I called the Buffalo Point National Recreation Area campground - 870-449-4311. They do not have canoe rentals at the campground but I was given names of three rental places close by there. I was told that there isn't any favorite one. They are as follows, listed in order of nearest to the campground:
Dirst Canoes & Log Cabins - 870-449-6636
Wild Bill's Outfitters - 870-449-6235
Buffalo River Float Service - 870-449-2042
