Traveler Reviews
Spring Break
Staff are friendly and they do a good job keeping things in shape. Restrooms and showers clean. Bring leveling blocks as there are many sites that will need additional leveling. We have automatic jacks on our Motorhome and we still needed to add additional blocks. There are good walking trails and dog runs are adequate.
Nice Stopover
This is a older Park. The roads are narrow, spaces are tight. Staff was pleasant, and accommodating. Park is close to restaurants.
Nice park
Enjoyed our stay here very much. The hosts were very nice & helpful. We were in a 40 ft RV & nervous from the reviews about whether we would fit. The staff was very helpful in getting us into our space. It was a bit tight getting in-- the roads are narrow & trees & posts to watch out for. Once in we were very comfortable. The gravel sites were pretty level. We had plenty of room for our 4 slides. The wi fi & cable were very good. Will come again!!
Cramped and Dirty
The first night here we walked our dogs. Their white feet were black from the sooty ashes that the park apparently spreads around the sites and camping area instead of disposing of properly. We had to wash them and carry them into the RV.
Best KOA ever
We stay here often to get away from the heat in Phoenix. This KOA is the friendliest Kamp ground we have stayed at. It is very Eco friendly. The staff goes out of it's way to make your stay pleasant. The managers top notch.
Avoid this park unless under new ownership!
Perhaps (hopefully) things have changed since we stayed here, but this is the worst KOA we've ever stayed at. The people who own the park are obviously not investing any more money in it. The park is run down, there is NO pool, the sites are crammed, the bathrooms are stinky and the owners are so cheap they won't even buy toilet seat covers, and worst of all, if you are in a 30 amp site, you are not allowed to run your AC on their electricity. It's 103 today, and we got a knock on our door telling us to shut the AC off. "The park is so old it can't handle it" the clerk told us. Then we were told to use our generator if we wanted AC. This park is the biggest rip off EVER, and if we weren't desperate for a place to stay in the area, we would move on immediately. Avoid this place at all costs.
