We love it here!

This is our 4th season at Destiny. Lots of citrus trees to keep you stocked up in season! Friendly staff and fellow RVers. A mix of Seasonals, monthly, and overnight guests. Paved roads, concrete patios, clean restrooms and laundry. Pickleball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, pool/spa. Occasional activities planned throughout winter. We will be here until social distancing guidelines are relaxed.

Resort???

This "resort" is not that. Pool area is very worn, tiles and grout around pool are extremely in disrepair. Lack of upkeep. No area for dogs, but they advertise a dog area.
The day we were there we witnessed someone taking pictures from a window above the pool area. We innocently reported it to their security office outside the gated park. Bad mistake, although we believed them to be security. We were then not allowed back into the park and the manager admitted to us that he took the pictures of women and children in the pool. He said he could take pictures of anyone he wanted. The manager became angry that he was SEEN taking pictures. He pulled open our truck and my son nearly fell out. That was assault. We called police because the manager called his thugs to try to fight with us. They tried to fight with my husband who is 100% disabled veteran! One thug ran off when police came! The others told the police we were trouble makers! WE called the police to report children being photographed by an unknown adult through a window that was opened to get a telephoto lens out and we were accosted by thugs. You see, the window had foil on it and was then opened! The manager stood right by our truck deleting things from his phone! He refused us access to our RV. He called his thug friends on property to scare us. The fact of the matter is, this RV "resort" is not the resort it used to be. We packed up and left. We told the police we were not safe there. They stayed with us until we packed up and left at 9pm. We did nothing but report some very weird going-ons there, and now I have personally received messages from people defending their actions and calling us liars. Well, guess what? We did not make up that story! We did not want to pack up our RV at 9 pm to leave. We only wanted to protect the people in the pool that were being photographed without their permission. And yes, lots of children were in the pool.

Excellence in Service

I lived at the Destiny RV Resort for a total of 2 years during my time in the Phoenix Area and want to tell you how much I appreciate the staff and accommodations at your park.
Karen the site manager was one of the most helpful and accommodating managers I have worked with. She was always courteous and professional taking the time to service and support me when I needed it. The office and grounds were always taken care well and any issue I had was addressed quickly and efficiently. Karen should be congratulated and recognized for her management of the site.
George the Security Guard was always on site putting more than his typical hours in. he was observing, caring and always on the look out. He helped guests in many ways above and beyond his calling as a securing guard. George is a fantastic security guard and should be recognized for his exceptional service.
All in all the staff there was terrific. I will and have recommended many times to my friends and business partners that this park is a top notch place to stay in Goodyear. I will certainly come back to visit and be a long term customer going forward.

Awesome Resort!

My son and I have lived here almost a year now. And we love it here. The people are very friendly. The staff here are very helpful. The staff here is like a family. The Resort is very well taken care of. I feel safe here, great security. Very clean and nice amenities. Great Pool with spa. Lots of trees, fruit trees too! All the fruit you want. Great location, not far from local stores, or downtown phoenix. I would highly recommend anyone to stay, whether it's for a weekend, or to live here. You Guys Are Awesome!!!

10 year old rigs not welcome

While I have stayed here ever since my 5er was new they have a restriction "no rigs over 10 years old". While I love the park will not be staying there after this year because of the rig age restriction.

Stayed Here Several Times

Goodyear is located west of the Phoenix and is a fast growing area near the Phoenix International Raceway. They have a few hundred sites with several of them being pull throughs with FHU and most were very spacious.

We enjoyed our time there swimming in the sparkling pool and Jacuzzi and they also had many other daily activities going on.

The shower stalls were private with your own door with a lock that is a nice feature.

A very well stocked store with the laundry facilities attached that were in very good condition and very clean.

There motto is, “Tranquility With a Southwestern Flair”. A bit of a paradox when the park is in the path of Luke Air Force Base and several of the mornings we were awaken just after daybreak to the sound of a very low flying fighter jet passing by.

Using our Good Sam discount card, we paid under $30 per night.
