Quiet, Clean and Safe
We stayed here with our two sons 15 and 8 around thanksgiving.
Excellent Park
We ended up staying 2 weeks at this RV park. All sites Nice large pull thrus, very quiet country setting. Would recommend this RV park to anyone.
Best RV park in the Tombstone area
This park is located in the country about 8 miles from Tombstone, AZ. If you're thinking of visiting Tombstone (which survives purely on OK Corral tourism) this is the place to stay.
All sites are long pull throughs. We had no problem fitting our 45' bus + 20' trailer on the site and still had enough room to park our car next to the trailer. The roads and sites are gravel with natural landscaping and the sites are all wide enough (approx. 40') to avoid the crowded feel that is so common in many RV parks.
WiFi is free, but I had to go to the main building to successfully connect. Verizon cell and data work well here, but ATT coverage is poor for voice and data. The laundry room features front-loading washers and dryers that are in very good condition.
The rural location combined with the lack of annoying streetlights in the RV park along with the 4400' elevation and dry desert climate make for terrific stargazing conditions. It's worth a visit here just for that reason.
Rates are very reasonable here and if you have Passport America a 7 day stay is $133 including all taxes. They do charge separately for electric (0.13/kwh) - even for daily stays - which is a departure from the usual RV park practice.
Although this park is about 25 miles south of I-10, we would detour south to stay here again while passing through the area - since it is a much nicer experience than the parks along I-10 in the Benson area.
