The perfect place to rest and relax before heading out on the Mother Road Route 66
We have stayed at the Fort Beale RV Park on several occasions. This will be our first review on the park because every time it is pretty much the same. Just a great place to stay.
The park manager’s is a couple who are very nice and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable.
The park has some long term residents but, you won’t see any trash or run down RV’s and no Mobil Homes. They are located on the outside of the circle park and the short term RV’s are located in the middle pull thru spots. There is ample space between the spots and while they do have some short trees none of them interfere with your RV slide outs or satellites. The utilities are in the correct space and the sewer line is low so your hose works properly. Once someone leaves a caretaker comes and cleans up the spot for the next RV.
We have used the pool, the laundry room and the full restrooms and showers and they are always nice and clean. I only wish they had a Jacuzzi.
The park is close to the frwy but, you really do not hear traffic noise. The park is also close to old town and the new shopping areas. If you plan on staying any length of time you should check out the Hualapai Mountains just a few minutes away. You can eat in a nice rustic restaurant while watching Elk year round outside the windows. It is the perfect jump off point for the Colorado River, The Grand Canyon and Vegas.
Honestly I could find no cons with this place. The only ones I can find are the RVers who do not follow the rules. Once and awhile you may see a dog run loose behind its owner because they feel special or someone who doesn’t understand RV etiquette and leave a sewer line on the ground and not on a rack but, that is no reflection on the park itself. If the managers see something they do something about it.
We have been full time RVer’s since I retired and because of my background I tend to do my research on places we stay all across America (Google Earth, Good Sam, KOA and this RV Review web site and it’s reviewers have been a big help). We have a 40 ft. rig (my 28 ft. RV pulls my 12 ft. garage that carries my HD so I prefer Pull Thru’s). We look for Locations close to our reason for being there, Accessibility for our rig, Park Appeal (inviting and not run down or the look of Meth Labs), Parks that enforce their noise and pet rules, Amenities, Good accessible and working Hook Ups, We have our own Internet source so we don’t care about Park Wifi and we have a satellite so we look for no overhanging trees. It is all about just how comfortable you can make R'ving fun an enjoyable.

Nice park for either an overnight stop or a longer stay. Good size sites with pull through or back in. We had a pull through that had room for our 5th wheel 39ft and 3 slides.
