Nice place
Nice place but a little over priced for our 30 amp service and water. We could see how weekends during the summer season could be loud and busy due to the ATV and UTV's coming and going. We were woken up at 2:00am one night by a UTV blaring music and loud engine. The spaces were close together but nicely treed and could accommodate our 45' coach. We enjoyed walking around the grounds everyday and they have a nice fenced dog park. We also enjoyed the area and we close enough to Sedona, Flagstaff and even the Grand Canyon for day trips. We will stay again when we are in the area
Love it!
We look forward to staying at Munds every year as we travel home for vacation. Beautiful views. They do have permeant campers there. Love Munds.
Too Noisy!
Went out of our way to park here on another's recommendation. Park was very nice but they put us in a space near interstate. Construction moved traffic onto the "grooves" that wake up drivers so we endured noise all night long. Wish we could open windows and enjoy cool night air! Instead it's 2 am and can't sleep! If you stay here ask for a space away from interstate as far as possible.
National Forest and miles of hiking right at your fingertips
This is an interesting mix of a park. The majority of the area is dedicated to “seasonals”= people who come for the summer season to escape the heat in Phoenix. So, there’s a lot of semi-permanent trailers and trailer-homes and we gather it gets very full by ~June. The RV sites are scattered in-between and vary a lot in size, but the location is beautiful. Lots of gorgeous Ponderosa Pine and miles & miles of forest. There’s not much in the way of towns close-by (Flagstaff is the closest larger town), but if you like being close to nature this can’t be beat.
