Casa Malpais RV Park

Nice place to stay...

There seem to be quite a few long term residents here, but there is lots of space for us overniters too. The roads and sites are gravel, but level and wide. There are quite a few pull thrus with plenty of room for your tow. The bathrooms and showers are clean and there is a laundry as well. The folks here are very pleasant and helpful. I had some issues hooking up as
the water did not work, but they sorted it out very quickly for me. The wifi was great, no issues! The overall condition of the park is clean but needs a little paint here and there. I love hearing the wind blow they think leaves.... There are Large trees at most sites which makes a pleasant environment but can also be a hindrance to your satellite dish. Had I backed up a bit my dish probably would have had a good path, but I had already set up and was not going to move.
(They have a LOT of DVDs in the office!). Not sure if they are for rent or general use... We always bring own own when we travel. 50 amp is available, water pressure is good! Septic drains are a size smaller than the ones for my Valterra hookups, but I managed. Tables are provided at the sites and are in great condition. Park is Located just west of town, off the 60, but no road noise! Safeway, gas stations and other stores are about 2 miles away. Nice play to stay, we would come back!
