Lovely location
The park is right next to the canyon. Canyon tours can only be taken with Navajo tour guides, but it is easy to find them in town. The park has lots of trees. When we were then in September, there were only about 5 sites taken. In addition to the park info center right on the hill above, there is a restaurant serving Navajo food. We drove the canyon top; the road takes off right near the campground. And the campground is free!
