beautiful, well maintained, clean campground.

I was looking for a place to stop and sleep on my drive between San Francisco and Red Rocks, Nevada. Although I usually prefer to primitive camp on BLM land, the security of an established campground can feel great when you are tired and just want a safe place to crash! I came across this little gem. It's a little hard to find if you are navigating from your iPhone maps, so you may want to use the maps on this site. Although I have a small pop-up camper, it seems it would be really easy to pull into with a large rig. It's clean, the grounds are impeccably maintained. I was in a nice spot right by the river, and it made for a lovely night sleep. I was there off-season, and it was very quiet. I'm guessing in summer it gets pretty chaotic? ? The misty morning haze was beautiful over the river. I'd recommend this campground if you are looking for an established, clean, campground that is good for both tents, and RV's. I didn't shower or use the facilities, so I can't really comment on that.
