Beautiful Autumn in Columbia

We only stayed here one night, but it was very pleasant. We love nature & felt very close to nature at this park. It was a bit rustic (we didn't see any paved spots) compared to other sites where we have stayed - but we're okay with that. The check in was super easy & the woman at the desk was friendly. We had plenty of space to maneuver our trailer & we had two picnic tables. There is a nice grassy area for kids with several activities (horseshoes, volleyball net, etc.) and the pool looked nice. There is a store which carries a small amount of pharmacy items, RV supplies, misc. paper goods, candy/treats, and souvenirs. The park is right outside the Columbia historic state park. It only took a few minutes to drive there & we enjoyed walking through the old town & learning about the history of the area. We especially enjoyed the old-time candy store! We were a short drive from both Sonora & Jamestown where there are additional historic activities/train rides. We would stay here again.

Below average

Tight spaces, noisy campers, quiet hour not enforced, no cell service (AT&T), poor internet. Overall, just not an enjoyable stay.

Nice park with lots of shade

This park has typical spaces but also has a number of very large ones too. Close to Columbia SP
