Don't stay here!
Park manager is a cranky bipolar witch. The "general store" is just a bookshelf and a freezer (usually just stocked with 2 kinds of beer). The park is located next to the river, but you can't access it from here. Only look at it. The beach is on the other side in a gated community. The park is mostly filled with monthly residents that have all the good spaces. The park is located next to a busy highway that services Korbel Winery and has big trucks running at all hours of the day and night. The bathrooms and showers are located across the park in the monthly area. The laundry facility only has 3 machines of each and costs $1.75 to use each. The monthly residents usually have those occupied. They don't allow pit bulls of any kind, but they'll allow some of the biggest Rottweilers you can imagine. The park manager won't allow anything to be attached to the awnings (bamboo curtains and such) as she says that the park can't look like a trailer park & has to remain as a campground. But the 2 trailers that look most trailer trashy of them all are hers (fifth wheel with a shed complete with a boat on the roof, arbor out front and fence all around) and the grounds maintence guy (filling a drive thru space with a 40' fifth wheel, shed, forest of plants, boats under the trailer, & various gardening items under the trailer. The thing that puts the cherry on top is the fact that they claim to be a family park (but say that kids must remain in their sites), claim to enforce all drug laws, yet everyday, the air is filled with the smell of people smoking pot. Also, if have any visitors, it's $5 per PERSON, not per vehicle like other places.
river bend rv resort
Small, cramped, crowded, and noisy. But the staff and people there were very friendly. I was going to stay longer, but changed my mind once I arrived and only stayed one night.
