Sunland RV Resort in San Diego

Gravel sites w/concrete patios, tight spacing, next to Hwy 8(EXTREMELY busy frwy). Landscaping interferes with sewer hookups and trees cause brush scratches to rigs. Passport America participant. Price reflects daily + tax + dog fees.

Not sure how this got four stars

Right next ti I-8 a lot of highway noise. I think that parks need to put hat in there advertising instead of making it look
Like they are off the beaten path

Great location

All sites have concrete floor and were level. The facility is well maintained and veey clean. Walking distance to trolley station and a mile away from RV supplies store.

Not a lot to do in the park but with a $5 daily trolley pass, you can go anywhere in downtown San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico.

I recommend going to old town and the gaslamp district.

Great location!

We stayed here for a week while rendezvousing with a fellow nomadic friend, and to take care of some tow vehicle maintenance. The location was fantastic for being accessible to everything we needed, and right next to public transit.

It is located right off the interstate, so it's not exactly scenic but the sound isn't too bad.

The spaces were a mix of small and large, and they were creatively crammed in to maximize the space while not feeling too overcrowded. Our biggest disappointment was the hot tub hours and how strict they were on enforcing them (a common complaint we have at these so-called 'resorts'). Beyond having a pool and hot tub, there's really not much else resort like however.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, and even upgraded us for free to a premium spot next to our friend.

We had excellent Sprint and AT&T signal while here with 3G.
