Great value

- pool and playground
- general store
- many trees
Welcome 1st night stay heading South
Agree with Mom2Dave. However in the three times we stayed (all in January) we have never got a level site. All were in N/S sites and needed three to four 2x4's to get level.
The people are very helpful and showers hot and clean. Muffins and coffee for breakfast and we are on our way.
Manzanar is a short drive north of Lone Pine and well worth a stop.
We stayed in both a fifth wheel and trailer and will be there again this Friday.

Nice place to get out of town quick..
Just 2 hours away from the Antelope Valley, you feel so much farther out of the city limits.
Trees, yes.... grass, no ... it's more of desert like surroundings...
The clubhouse is wonderful, with big screen TV, a piano, full kitchen for campers use, tables, couches.... a nice place to hang out.
No organized activities, tho... I would like to have had some of those :)
Nice big showers and rest rooms.
This is the main place to stay for the Cowboy Museum and activities in Lone Pine, tho something we are not interested in... many others are, and this park fills up fast during the special festivities.
Overall.. it's clean and quiet, and we enjoy it as a close place to get away from it all.. just to relax.
