Excellent

Great place, stayed only one night. Place is great, starting with making a call to reserve a place (probably last one), to whole experience. Kids friendly, pet friendly, highway noise is there, not bad, if you don?t like it - Boondock...
Price is very reasonable with AAA, Sams and Military.
Will stay again

Potential is there

We have stayed here twice not because of the condition of park but strictly for the location. The wash rooms-machines were filthy, sites were over grown, bushes and trees needed to be pruned-scratched RV. Has potential to be a 4 to 5 star park with some serious maintenance and upkeep. Way over priced for what is available.

Nice place

Nice place, site was clean and the owners was nice, some noisy due to the road just aside the campsite. The dunes and the beach are wonderful.

Dirty & ill-maintained

We stayed here three nights in August, 2015. The park is well located; 7 miles from Monterey and within walking distance to the beach and a state park. It is next to the SR 101 freeway but the noise did not bother us.

However, the park is dirty. The sites have not been raked or cleaned up for a long time. The laundry room was dirty over the two days we used it. Lint, paper and dryer sheets on the floor. Cloths that sat on the counter for days and machines that were very old and problematic.

There was trash filling the trash can enclosures and it littered our campsite.

The electrical pedestals are broken at the base and falling over.

This park is surviving because of its location and not because of cleanliness and maintenance.

Nice place.

We camped here for the first time on 09/28/2012 stayed 2 days and we liked the park very much. Nice and close to the beach. There is a little traffic noise from the freeway but heard just as much noise from the beach. The park is very well maintained and clean. We have put it on our go back again list.

Nice park

This is only our 3rd trip, but we really liked this park.

Nice lots, easy going staff, nice location. Price was a little high, and there is some noise from the freeway, but overall very happy with the park.
