Another day

Very beautiful! But the right hand doesn?t know what the left hand is doing! We called in talked to a very nice person at the front desk, she said it would be 80$ . My husband asked her if she wanted our info! She said no just come in we have plenty of room. He said well I want to at least give you my name. She said ok.....

We get there the gates are locked we have a 45 ft with tow. Hanging out in the street.... if you don?t have a cell your in trouble.... you must get out get the phone number, then they give you a code to open the gate..... to get in.

Them the lady in the office says ...we don?t have any information on you I don?t know who you talked to but it will be $145.00 so we went to the Casino aqua Caliente!

Windy quite a bit

We enjoyed our stay here, facilities were clean, the wind did blow quite a bit, though, and near a train track, so noisy at times. But pool was awesome and fitness area. Very clean. Tight spaces.

Overall Impression. . . . Thumbs up !

We just got back from a three night stay at Emerald Desert RV Park, and we can offer the following details.

First, The park was immaculately maintained, it is truly beautiful ! Second, if you like golf, they have putting and chipping areas. Perfect for warming up prior to your round. Again very well maintained. Third, they have a dog park for your pet. Again, fenced in and well manicured lawns. Fourth, staff could not have been friendlier or any more helpful. We arrived after the office closed and a staff member reopened the office while her children waited patiently in the car for her to finish up ! Anything we asked was greeted with a warm friendly response. When I asked about a late check out time, they were willing to work with us !

However, other reviewers comments about the noise from the trains (what seemed like hourly) was not really a factor after the first night! I am a light sleeper and my wife is a heavy sleeper, and neither of us noticed much noise by the second night. We would have given a five star rating, but while the park cannot control train noise, it is a factor.

Beautiful park but noisy!

We just spent 3 nights in a elite site (#688) and overall had a really enjoyable time. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and very green! The sites are ok, some are definitely better than others with nice big shade trees and the way they are facing to avoid the sun in the late afternoon and the sites located down the small side streets could pose a challenge to back into.
Just like the other reviews, the noise from the trains and the freeway is very loud. The premium and deluxe sites get the brunt of it, and even though the elite and platinum sites are on the other end of the park, you still hear the noise. I would suggest getting a good pair of earplugs!
We went to the happy hour on Friday night where they had wine, beer and margaritas. There was no food left by the time we arrived, so if your planning on eating, get there as soon as it starts!
We also went to both pools, and the big pool is very nice. Lounge chairs and even cabanas available first come.
The best fitness/gym center I have been to in a RV park. Cardio equipment, machine and free weights and also they have small towels and ice water!
This park would be fantastic if it wasn't for the noise. But worth a visit for sure!

Exceptional

Emerald Desert a gem in the Palm Springs area. Impressively manicured grounds, generous landscaping, super sized saltwater pool and spa complete with social area, shaded nooks and fri afternoon happy hour. Emerald has 251 sites, down from the previous 900. Over 70% of the resort has been repurposed to condos, including the golf course. Sites are adequate, most are back in. Expect to pay a premium for corners and over-sized spots. Big plus the lush grounds and pool area. Big big minus is noise. Emerald abuts 2 trans continental rail lines and Hwy 10. Both are busy 24-7. The evenings were very pleasant but too noisy to sit out. Wifi was sketchy, the resort recommends signing up for long term broadband from Charter. Emerald caters to snowbirds who stay 2-4 months and to clubs early in the season, think Elks and FMCA chapters. Only discounts are Good Sam/ Military/ AAA at 10%Weekly/ monthly rates vary by season and demand and are not posted. We came for 3 nites and stayed 2 weeks, very pleased overall. Big bonus is enclosed storage. You can leave your rig locked up, pull it out when you return. Mobile wash and wax guys do a great job but ask for a premium, be sure to negotiate.( Sorry Brian )

Luxury

We live this beautiful place in the desert. There is a huge fenced dog yard with benches and pick up station. Friendly staff. Large fully equipped spaces. Impeccably manicured. Not stuffy at all.
