PiPi Campground (Eldorado National Forest)

Nice get away location

The roads leading to campground are narrow if you are in an RV. It is about 6 miles from highway 88. campground is along a river/creek with wading permitted. This is in a national forest so we knew not to expect any hookups. Site are spacious. Disabled access to walkway along river. Reasons for 4 stars -pit toilets and narrow road inside campground. If you want to leave, you must circle the entire park and hope another RV isn't coming in the opposite direction!

Would definitely stay here again. This is not a place for a short one-night visit due to location. It took us 2 1/2 hrs to reach from Carson City, NV (about 80 miles away) The road was very steep from Carson City.
