Mission Bay RV Resort
Right on Mission Bay. Paved sites, gated park with 24 hour security guards. Not enough sites to accommodate bigger rigs, we only got to use 2 of our 4 days with Passport America. restrooms and showers a bit "rustic" but clean. Sites are lined up like cord wood. Dog fee is a bit high (1 time fee $5 per pet). Price reflects PA discount, taxes and dogs.
Great location
Very nice park, great location, helpful staff
Bad Camping
Just a parking lot . Pretty bad.
San Diego vacation spot
We decided to try the other Passport America park in San Diego this time - Mission Bay RV Resort and we liked it a little bit better than Santa Fe.
Right on a bay in San Diego, they are super close to Sea World, Balboa Park, the zoo, etc.. Very helpful and friendly, although the security guys never cracked a smile! ;)
Park has a few trees and on the Anza Cove with lots of walking and bike trails nearby. We paid $28 a night for full hook-ups, back-in site with Passport America.
They were little older and some of the showers were cold and drippy, while others worked. Long enough, but not super wide. Had a hard time finding a place to park our van.
Near the beach where you can rent ski jets. Snack shack open for breakfast and lunch. We had their green snow cones for St. Patrick's Day.
A well-kept park. Cable at each site, laundry, not much else.
Overall - This RV Park feels more like one for vacationers than the Santa Fe RV Park that we also stayed in while visiting San Diego.
