Great Park Super Fishing
RV park has huge pine trees and spacious sites looking out over the lake! Fishing for 3-7 lb trout is the norm!! New owners are very friendly and helpful! Nice store with gas and diesel! Playground for the kids!! Definitely coming back!!
Good spot for some quiet time
Unfortunately, Eagle Lake is suffering from the drought like some many other California lakes. This RV park is on the west side of the lake a few miles off Highway 139. If you go there, come around the north side of the lake particularly if you are towing. The trip up from the south on the A1 road can be difficult. Also, beware that some GPS systems will direct you to a closed back entrance. Call for directions.
Most sites are shaded with full hookups, 30amp electrical service. Free Wi-Fi was workable and cable TV service was weak. Excellent service from those we encountered. Only 4 or 5 others in the park when we were there so it was quiet. They also rent cabins.
Passport America park. PA rate was $19.50.
