This place is pretty cool lots of great hiking and exploring. Lots of black bears like a lot of campgrounds in this area , but they are kinda domesticated just make some noise and they will take off . I just love that it really feels like you are in the middle of this forest of giant trees pretty awesome.
*AMERICAN BLACK BEAR HABITAT! All food, scented items, and garbage must be properly stored in provided bear-resistant food storage boxes-not in your car-24 hours/day. Food-storage box dimensions are 28' high x 33' deep and 47' long.
*Road Construction: Road Construction is occurring along a portion of the Generals Highway (Highway 198 East) approximately 10 miles east of the Ash Mountain Entrance Station to Sequoia National Park. See website for delays and dates.
*A California state fishing license is required for fishing.
