Traveler Tips

This is a Christian camp that is not open to non-Christians.
It's located in the nice part of Angeles National Forest.
If you do camp here, be careful coming out of the site specially on weekends as Big Tujunga is a popular road for motorcyclists and car enthusiasts. It's a nice drive but these people go way beyond the speed limit.

Not really for RVs

While Rancho Ybarra is a nice place to visit for camping, they are not really set up for RVs at all and should not be on rv parking. com at all. It is not an rv park or a place to park an rv. They do have a dining hall, dormitories and meeting rooms for group use. In the summertime a large swimming pool is filled. The camp is inside the angeles national forest and there is a large mountain and a creek that runs through. In the summer, reservations some months in advance are usually required for larger groups (on weekends especially). Exclusive use of the campground can be secured for an additional fee. Otherwise expect the probablity of sharing the facilities with a church or civic group of some kind. Part of the benefit of this camp is its closeness to los angeles while being in the middle of the national forest. There is no cell phone service in this part of the national forest or available wi-fi. There is, however, electricity, running water, showers and a large kitchen area. For the sake of the neighbor, amplifiers and pa systems are shut down after 10pm.
