Crowded campground in friendly environment

There are not that many RV parks left in the neighborhood of Los Angeles. All to the rising ground price. This park is one of those that is open for you and will take you into Hollywood in a 20 minute drive.
It is basically a lane with some places left and right. So not that big. There are enough trees for shadow. Quite a lot of places seem to be taken by persons staying for a longer period (to avoid the idiot house prices in LA). We stood in the far back backwards in. There are no hugh places, so do call up front to make a reservation.
The restrooms are very clean and seemed to be tieled recently.
Office personel is very nice and gave a helping hand in lots of areas.
We had no issue with it, but the park is close to the Van Nuys airport so there can be lot of helicopters and little airplanes in the air.
Not much to see, in walking distance, of the park.
I think that it is save enough for children however I didn't see any playground.

This is the benchmark!

Upon our arrival we were met by Mike, who was probably the nicest, friendliest and most helpful man that we have met!
Mike helped us set up and then booked us in and took the hassle away for us newbies!
The site itself is lovely and clean and well laid out with everything you need. My advice, if you need to stay in LA, you MUST stay here.
If I could give this 6 stars I would!

my stay

The park was a little old. There was no pull through spaces. No Wi-Fi internet. Did see some freezers and refrigeraters in some spots. Also a few vehicles that look like they were not oerational. There was also the Pediphile in spot #26 (please check Megan Law) by the Rec Hall. We cut our trip short when we found out.

Nice owner

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The space's are tight, but the campground is well maintained for the age.
