Really Nice Park
Pros- Clean, dog friendly, (as long as you pick up poop). Huge dog park (and an automated dog wash) dog babysitting service! Clean showers, clean laundry, sites clean. Gravel sites, easy access. Nice store with basics, quiet except for the Silverton train, which never bothered us. Shaded sites, many repeat campers we found out. Expresso on the front porch, super nice people, lots of great information. Freshly made pizza made to order at office, and a pool! CONS: no campfires allowed, except for a community campfire.

We stayed here the first time for a week and this time for 2 weeks. Staff is friendly and helpful. One of the few places in the area that has grass at there sites.

This is our second time here. We stayed here 2 weeks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Park has a pool and a dog wash. The only draw back is it has gravel drives and pads. But so does every other park in the area.
Durango Jem
Stayed here 4weeks while exploring area. Gravel drive and sites but they work with you to get you in and out. Great owners that were on site and available. All staff were friendly and helpful. Not there for wifi and it is still not that strong a signal. Great base to see area and will go back again. Next time will stay longer.
Easy access
RV park is easily accessed by bigger rigs, although the entry gate is somewhat narrow. We were quickly greeted and led to our site by efficient staff. It was necessary to go out toward the highway to have phone service, and wifi was iffy at best. Very peaceful and quiet. Good location as far as access to Durango restaurants, etc. Would readily stay again when in the area.
Not impressed with service
Wanting good wifi connection?This is not the place. I tried three days to get online just to pay bills, finally went downtown where someone else had free wifi. Very pretty, lots of trees. Office staff were nice, but most of those working in park are not that friendly. Felt uncomfortable out and about running into them.
