Great location

Very convenient off I-70, but no sewer hook up which was a bummer! Did get to do a short hike with the kids, plenty of wild life!

Interesting

This is an older campground owned by the city of Denver. It has it's advantages in that it is near the Interstate, there are several places to hike or walk nearby and the sites are in the woods. The RV spots need some maintenance as they are dirt / gravel and only close to level. We arrived shortly after the 2013 floods that just brushed this area, but there was some mud and erosion. There is water and electricity at each site with a dump on the grounds. The WiFi is strong, or out, every few minutes, but we managed to get email and search out our next day's travel.
The bathrooms are big and clean, but the showers require quarters. The first one I selected had the quarter box jammed, and the next one gave me the shortest 25 cent rinse I have ever had. That said, 50 cents gave me a good Navy shower.
The Interstate is nearby, but it is just a dull background noise.
I would go back.
